Hey Magda...
Do you use any particular type of stock or do you make it yourself? Our health visitors advised against using stock cubes because of the salt levels so I found some low salt ones but am still unsure about using them. Don't think I have the time or the motivation to make a stock from scratch...!

i use maggie stock cubes low in salt. i figure a little stock cant hurt.. but i only put 1 cube in instead of the recommended 2cubes. i too cant be bothered with making it from scratch.

another recipe i made which she LOVED

Salmon pasta bake

Steam vegetables, boil pasta, and grill salmon then combine all in a oven dish, add tomato paste diluted with water about a cup, mix and bake for 25mins.

thought id add another recipe...as my 9mth old has started to refuse vegetables on their own!!!

MEatballs with Carrott and mushrooms..

in a bowl combine premium mince with grated carrot and finely chopped mushrooms, 2tbs of natural yoghurt and combine together well.
add 3tbs breadcrumbs and combine again.

heat 1 can tomatos diced with 1tbs olive oil in a fry pan, when tomatos start to simmer, add the meatballs, i roll them to 2cm diameter. and simmer with closed lid for 15mins! stiring and flipping occassionally!

I make an easy chicken stock - using a chicken cut up or 8 chicken thighs, a couple of carrots and parsnips, a stick of celery, two onions four big potatoes and a leek, sprinkle with parsley cover wth 3 litres of water and simmer for three hours, topping up the water if needed.

Once it cools down I skim the fat off and it keeps in the freezer so I can thaw out what I need to make different stews.

Good grief! I feel like a bit of a failure now, looking at all these recipes! Talk about cordon bleu for babies lol  ;D My son (who is 6 months) likes his Hipp jars when I don't give him what we're eating, or whatever pureed veg/fruit I've frozen previously. And I thought I was doing well!

regarding sandwhiches..definitley give them some bread with avocado or puree vegetables as a spread.. just break it up into small pieces
and i would really only recommned rye or wholemeal bread as it doesnt clump up as the white bread does when its wet. plus its much more nutritious.
