My son, we used to put him down in his crib when he showed signs of being tired, he would fuss a little, we would ssh/pat and he would go to sleep within 5 minutes

Now, the past couple weeks it just seems to be getting worse. His signals have all changed. Now when he's tired he fusses. He makes like a grunting sound. So we take him to his room and he starts crying. For naps and bed time is the worst when that used to be so easy

You would think after doing this for three months that you could put them down and they would go out

I just don't get why its getting worse

anyone else get this?

Could you post your general daily routine?

how old is he, Jaime?  I know when dd turned around 6months her cues all changed and I had to watch the clock for a while until I figured it out again.  Guessing from your routine your LO might be the same age as mine??

Oh, duh, I just realized I already knew that from your other thread.   :-[  And...I missed you're pregnant, you must think I'm quite daft!   ::)

Yup, at 6months Bethany stopped doing her normal tired cues.  I also couldn't extend her naps anymore - when she woke, she was awake for good no matter what.  I had to watch the clock and go by that until I got better at reading her new cues.  And of course, right when I got that all figured out now she goes and changes again!!  ;D
