Hi,
A general routine is good, but the most important thing is to follow her cues. You shouldn't put her down unless she shows sleepy signs or it could get frustrating for her and you. You shouldn't wake her unless she sleeps past 3 hours (unless she is a newborn) because you could interfere with her getting the rest she needs (and according to Dr. Weissbluth, her natural sleep cycles). It's ok if your feeding routine is a bit out of whack. This used to stress me out, too, but it really makes no difference when you feed her. It's more so your feeds don't end up all being before sleep times do that they don't learn to associate sucking/eating with sleeping. Hope this helps! Carina
