Hey gals,
My DD Zoey will be 4 months old on the 21 of this month. She has always been a really good night sleeper, usually sleeping 12 hours, getting up once to nurse and going right back down. Every now and then she has gone through times where she gets up twice, but a lot of the time I have not responded to the earlier waking and she has settled herself back to sleep. Recently she has been having longer awake times (I let her tell me when she's tired by watching her ques), and going a bit longer between feeds (3.5 hours mostly). She also has been very tired by around 7pm so I've moved her bedtime from 8:30 to around 7:30pm in the last few days. However, since doing that she has been waking every 2-3 hours!!! What could be going on???
Here is how yesterday went...
She woke at 7:20am and was not interested in eating
E: 8am
A: 8:15-8:45am
S: 9:00am
She woke at 9:30 and I spent 30 minutes getting her back to sleep, she then slept for another hour (11am)
E: 11:30
A: 11:45-12:45
S: 1:10
She woke again 40 minutes later and I got her back off until 2:45
E: 2:45
A: 3:00-4:30
S: 4:45-5:30
E: 5:30m
A: 5:45-7:15 - bath, massage, PJs, cuddle time
E: 7:15
S: 7:30
She had been rubbing her eyes and seemed tired for most of her last awake period...
She woke up at 9:15pm and was awake in her crib for 30 minutes (not crying so I didn't go in). She kept falling asleep and waking back up and stirring around.
She woke again at 11:15pm just as I was about to dream feed her. She went back to sleep right after eating.
She woke again at 2:30am and was not crying but was unswaddled and I had to go in and reswaddle her and put her on her side and she went back to sleep.
She woke at 4:30am and I fed her and she went back to sleep.
She woke at 6:30 and made some noise and went back off herself.
She woke at 7:30 for the day.
Anyone have any ideas why she is waking so much and what I should be doing differently?!?!?!
