night wakings illness help
« on: February 03, 2007, 19:34:08 pm »
my lo is five months old and routine is like so
0700 feed,
0830/0900 nap
1000 feed
1200 solids
1230 nap
1400 feed
1700 solids
1800 bath
1900 bottle and bed
he used to sleep very well, he uses a dummy to go off but then pops it out and used to sleep to 0700 the next am.  only recently stopped df when solids started as he was cutting out milk in the day.  it worked well for a few nights but then he got ill a cold which has lingered for three weeks.  now he is waking three four times a night.  normally i hear him coughing and moaning.  sometimes he quickly settles with dummy sometimes takes ages, the night before last three hours.  i did feed him which he drank but didnt settle afterwards.  last night i tired df and it made not difference.  do you think i need to change anything or just hope it gets better when he is well?  i was thinking of giving him breakfast by conincidence, he generally not bad in the day quite happy.
