14 wk old scared of mirrors??
« on: February 06, 2007, 21:43:49 pm »
Just today, my lo is getting scared by the convex mirrors. He was fine with them yesterday.  ??? Has anyone else had this experience? Did it pass? It is very strange...but kinda funny. I'm having to cover up/remove them all from his swing, bouncer, etc. These kids change every day! ;D

My ds is almost 4mo. Just recently noticed the same. He is fine with small mirrors but he doesn't want to look at the big one when I'm holding him on my hands. Not so long time ago he loved it. Don't know why it changed, hopefully he will change again soon, we had such a big fun looking in the mirror before  :)

I'm sure he'll get over it soon, just takes a little while - could be anything, the light, the big people in it, who knows.  They get scared of all sorts of things at this age for unknown reasons (well, they know the reasons, but it's really hard for us to figure it out).  Good for you for figuring out what was making him upset, that's not always east when they're this little!
