3 month nights - normal?
« on: February 06, 2007, 23:49:49 pm »
Hi,
My baby boy 3 months old, sleeping from 8:30 to 4:00 a.m, at 4:00 a.m his bottle, sleeps again at 4:30.
 3 concerns:
1. Is it normal that he constantly moves all night long, without waking up?
2. He begins crying spontaneously, as if he had a nightmare, 2 times per night.
3. At 6.00 a.m he get really anxious, sometimes crying, with no hunger, I get him into my bed, and he sleeps till 8:00?
Thanks

Hi Karintya,

As you can see I split your post from the one that you originally added to so that you will get the most advice.

For three months you're having GREAT nights!! I'm jealous, I would have done anything for that when DS was that age.

1. Yes - some LOs are very active sleepers.
2. Does he wake when this happens?
3. Have you tried shh/pat rather than taking him back to your bed?

Karintya,  wow you are having great nights!  Enjoy!  Lo's sometimes can be restless little sleepers, but if they don't wake up, just leave them be!  Good for you for showing restraint when your lo cries spontaneously...I have a hard time with that one!  Sounds like your ds is a good sleeper.  My dd is a very active sleeper too at 5 months...
Enjoy and I hope your ds keeps it up for you!!!
