Wake to Sleep
« on: February 13, 2007, 16:33:41 pm »
Hi everyone,

Who has a success story with wake to sleep?
My lo 3 months and since a started DF at 10:00 he wakes up at 2 am, 4:00 am bottle, 6:00 am crying.
At 2 am he is not playing,at first not crying, I could say anxios not calm, after 30 minutes in his crib (I dont pay attention) he starts crying as if it was mantra cry or he is unconfortable.. What does he need, is he hungry, with pain, overtired? i have never had a good night, but as all of you I need to sleep to be ok next morning.
Would wake to sleep help for the 2 am waking up?
Is someone having my same problem?

At three months he could be waking for and needing two feeds a night.  Have you tried feeding him at the 2:00am waking.  It is possible tha since he went 6 hours (from 10-2) that if you fed him then he would sleep until 6 or so in the morning.

I have done W2S to extend naps.  My dd was a 45 min napper for awhile and after about 5 w2s she learned to get through that sleep cycle on her own.  I have also done w2s when dd was habitually waking at 4 am.
