I recently transitioned my 16 wk DS to a 4 hr EASY. After a couple days of he settled in nicely. My question is- he has always taken a feed at roughly 4 am. For about the last 5 days, he has awakened at roughly 5:30. My DH has gone in to put him back to bed. Last night, he woke around 4 and we waited to see what would happen. He stirred off and on for about an hour. At around 5, my DH went in to put him back to sleep. He then woke at 7:15 and ate at 7:30. Why is he now waking at 5 ish? This is totally new.

Before the 4 hr EASY he ate at 4. I would set my alarm to feed him if he didn't wake up on his own. In the past (around 11 wks old) he would not take a 10-11:00 dreamfeed. That is why I fed him at 4 am. Does he no longer need the 4 am feed? He takes 7 oz of EBM at every feed with the sitter. He bf at home.
