early wake-up

hi all - i need your advice. my lo is 21 weeks. he is about 17lbs on his 4 months doctor's visit which was a couple of weeks ago. he was 6lbs 11oz when he was born. he is on 4 hrs EASY schedule but his naps are generally short - 45 min - 1hrs. he will sometimes take 2 hrs nap in the afternoon, 4PM - 6PM. generally, he doesn't have a hard time falling back to sleep between 7:30PM - 8PM. i am not sure if this is an issue .... he has been waking up @ 5:30 for the past month. i tried to put him back to sleep with PU/PD & a paci, sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't. is there anything i can do to encourange him to sleep till 7PM. i know a lot of mothers will kill for 9.5 hrs of straight sleep ... however, i still wonder if it is "normal" for 4.5 months baby to wake up @ 5:30AM? should i feed him @ 5:30AM? he is eating ~30oz. should he be eating more? i don't believe he is hungry. here is his schedule:

7AM: Eat 6 - 6.5oz
8:30AM - Sleep for 45min
11AM - Eat 5.5oz
1PM - Sleep for 45min
3PM - Eat 5.5oz
4PM - Sleep for 1.5 hrs - 2hrs
7:00 - Eat
7:30PM - 8PM - sleep

5:30 wake up.

thank you in advance,

I was thinking that the late nap being the longest that late in the day at 1.5 hours seems to be that missing 1.5 you need the next morning to bring you to 7AM. KWIM?  The first nap being 45 min could also mean that he needs more A time there and less between the naps, your PM nap seemed late too.  At that age we had:

7am wake and eat
9-10:30 nap
11 eat
1-2:30 nap
3:00 Eat
4:45-5:15 catnap
7pm-bed

As far as milk goes that seems right.  Is he draining the bottles or leaving a half ounce or so?
