Thankyou Aisling - was the temp as high as that?  She is working on the top eye teeth right now.

Aisling and Rina - I bet teeth can cause those fevers, but we recently had a three day fever that prsented NO symptoms other than a high fever.   The range was 101 F to 104.5 F - we went to the ER on the last one - they ran a bunch of tests, strep ad UTI....nothing - just the same bug they keep seeing, fever and that's it.    HOpe she is better.

Efka - did you go to bed slightly excited to see what would happen - thats how I was for a while....like it was a game.....I guess you have to make it fun, cause LOrd knows it is not - haha

LOL Gippie. Every night, DH and I try to guess the number of wakeups if any (that require our assistance) and the morning wakeup time ;D In the morning, we see who was right ;D (usually me hehe)

The fever has not returned since last night, but she is in a very awful mood!  Only time she stops whining is to throw a tantrum, and she has even been holding her breath.  Better when we are out of course, so we are heading out for the rest of the afternoon evening shortly (and will of course be messing her naps up a bit, but I think she will be OK with the nap thing).

She either has a tummy bug, or very serious teething.  She took at 45 min nap yesterday ::) Then wouldn't sleep at the movies with us either (sometimes she sleeps in my arms for that).  Then 20 mins in the car on the way to dinner with another family with 3 kids.  Then not again til we left dinner at 9pm ( :-X oops, it was lovely though).  Before we left dinner she had a really awful poo nappy, and her temp was back up a bit - not super high, but her panadol would only just be starting to wear off.  Gave her more, bottle then to sleep in the car, moved to cot just fine.

3:30, awake, panadol, juice, back to sleep.  Some stirring here and there, up for the day (awake anyway) at 6:30, out of cot at 7:05.  Guess it could have been worse. And then another even worse poo nappy.

I really feel like we have the early mornings all worked out!!! This thread has been both very useful and informative, and VERY supportive.

Thanks girls!

Rina, I think it is the teeth, especially if the poo was runny-ish.  We had temps that high with a runny nose and little cough, then the temp went down by the 3rd day and the teeth came just after.

Happy the a.m's are good now.  Thank you too.

Aisling x

Still getting the good sleep here.  I was (again) going to try w2s and did it one night and forgot the others - and she slept through - amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!    I wanted to MURDER DH on Saturday moring, he is a cop and works in town.   He thought it a WISE idea to come into the driveway at 5:45....we were BOTH sleeping....but one 140 pound dog saw the car - we were all awake.     He sat in the driveway - and at that point (still walking in my sleep) - I had no idea if it wa him....so I called and said "is that YOU in the driveway?" - he said YES - I said what the $$%%&^& were you thinking - what did you think the DOG would do???    He said he wanted a place to sit for a few minutes.  I mentioned that there are probably 999 streets in town - how about THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!

Grr - - he is not alllowed home anymore until after 6am!

Zara didnt' call for me until after 7.  But I had to go in and locate her lovie and dummy for her at 4 - she could't find them. ::)

She doesn't do the 4 thing every day, but maybe 1/2 the week.  Any suggestions on that?

Gippie - husbands.  Looks like aside from that little disruption, things are going well!!

Things are going well.  We survived the time change and she woke at 6am today - I was happy - we had a long night, she didnt fall asleep till 8:30 - at cousins house....

As far as the 4am wakes - can you say what preceeds them?  Noise, lost lovies......if it is habitual - I'd whip out the w2s - if not, I almost think you just let her be - what does she DO at 4am?

Stacey, you bet I am excited to go to bed to see what happens in the morning ::) Mind you I am getting in habitual waking ::)

We we away for the weekend. It meant 2 days away from our normal stuff. First night. Awake at 5. Left him for a bit, then took him in bed with us and we all fell asleep until 7. Second night, slept til 6 , eat and we were ready for day ;D

Now we are back home, well see about tomorrow.

Hope everybody is well

No 4am wake last night.

I THINK she only does it when she can't find her lovie.  I suspect she wakes in the night, or maybe jsut at that time, regularly.  But if she cannot locate her lovie, she has trouble resettling.  I hear her shuffle, then she starts to talk a bit...I think I only hear the shuffling because it sounds quite urgent, a little agitated - like she has been shuffling for a bit, and is getting frustrated.  Then the talking gets louder etc, and I can tell that we are on our way to a full wakeup, so I go in, see that seh can't find her lovie, hand it to her, and instant still and silent.

Lst night I put two in her cot (we have 3 the same, and she cannot differentiate between them (neither can I LOL).  I also checked that they were near her when I was goign off to bed.

Still moody during the day, still very slight temp....no teeth. :P
