Do you ever restrict how much solid food your baby eats or let her it as much as she wants until she refuses any more?

From the start of solids I have never restricted what she eats, I just control the selection and time of when she eats because she was bf so I didn't want it to interfere with her breast milk intake. At 16 months I still watch the times she eats as she is still bf 2x a day. The only thing I have to limit is banana and clementine oranges, she would stuff herself sick on these 2 items and eat nothing else if she had her way! Letting them control quantity of food sets them up to learn to eat only until full. If you limit food they may possibly later in life have eating and food issues.

I normally mix 1/2 tin with 2 ice cubes of mashed veggies.  As PP says, I didn't want the solid food interfering with BF as this is their main source of nutrition until AT LEAST 12mths.  As she has gotten older I have increased her solids. If she gobbles up whats in her bowl, I normally give her the rest of the tin without any more veggies.
