Hi! My daughter is 10 months old. She started solids at 7 mo. She still wasn't interested in them at that point but I wanted her to start practicing. She is a breastfed baby. She is currently nursing 5x's and I am getting ready to drop to 4x's. She is eating two 'meals' a day, usually 45 min. to 1 hr. after nursing. She eats maybe 1 1/2 tbsp. at each sitting. I have also give her cereal puffs, which she puts in her mouth and spits back out. Cheerios, same thing. She liked the zweiback toast the first time and now she throws it on the floor. The same with wagon wheels. I have also tried pancakes, not too thrilled; banana-okay; crust of italian bread and pizza crust- loved! And that is it so far. I am not sure what to do. Should i keep trying and wait to intro third meal. I am pretty sure that by this point my son was eating three meals. And he was a horrible eater and still is. (he is only 29 pounds at 4 1/2 yrs old!) I know I was only nursing him in morning and night at his first birthday. And advice would be great! I would love to have her weanted totally from breast at 14 months when we are all going to an all-inclusive in Mexico, but it doesn't seem possible since she is hardly eating anything.
