Feeding routine for 6 3/4 month old
« on: March 20, 2007, 14:28:08 pm »
I am feeding my DD slids 3 times a day.  Is this OK?  She's taking it well and BF's are still good length in between.  I let her tell me how much but it is usually 2-4 Tblsp cereal and/or peas (our current new food, carrots are next).

Also, I think I read in BW that if the LO reaches for the spoon to let her have it (she shoves it in her mouth, however ineffective she eats it).  Is this correct?  Don't want to allow a bad habit to start.

It sounds like you're off to a great start!

I always give Mimi the spoon when she grabs for it.  Sometimes it makes it in her mouth, but most times these days it ends up on the floor.  ::)  I go through a ton of spoons everytime I feed her non-finger foods but I figure I'm getting her ready to eat with it.... one day.  ;)
