If it's at all workable, add some water a little tiny bit at a time and see if that helps.  If it's not at all workable, I have no idea.

How do you make your own?  The recipe I had was that great so I had to buy the Fisher Price one.  Anyone have a good recipe?

Hi Hun

If your play doh's gone hard (because it's been left out) then I don't think there's much you can do.

This is the homemade recipe my MIL uses though. It's great - although it has a little bit of a funny smell, but you can combat that with a few drops of vanilla extract.

1 c. flour
1 c. boiling water
2 tbsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. salt
1 tbsp. oil
Food coloring

Mix and knead together

love
Marie

I've got that same recipe but we use room temperature water and cook it in the microwave for about 3-4 minutes, stopping to stir every 30 sec. Depending on the strenght of the microwave it takes me 2.5 minutes and it looks like store bought playdough and store the same way.
My big boy is such a wonderful brother to his new sister.
I am truly blessed.
