love this thread,, here are some of mine

when Kacey is in her buggy, she blows kisses to random strangers in the street

when i go in to get her in the morning, she claps her hands

when i give her into trouble,, she shimmies over and gives me a huge hollywood kiss,, with Tungus ::)

she wont leave the shop without a receipt, then she hold onto it like its a £20 note

when you say, "who's a bad girl", she points to me very time

she claps her hand for everything she does, and everyone has to do it with her

everytime she hears music her hands go above her head and she baby dances

whenever she has a drink she goes "aaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Charlotte went with Dave to drop of one of the cars to be fixed.
Her conversation with the mechanic.
"Hi!  You fix it Daddy's car?"
"Yes, we'll fix it all better"
"All right!  Thank you very much."     8)
Then as they are leaving in the loaner car: "My daddy's car!  My daddy's car!!"  Sobbing.  She can be sooo grown up, then she can be 2.   ;)

Freya's nearly 4 now, so too old for a toddler, but still hasn't let go of the phrase "hello lady, what's your name called?" to every adult female she meets :D;

Eryn is starting to talk and stand there flapping her arms shouting "mama... duddle" when she wants to be picked up, she has also just learned to shake her head for 'no', but ends up shaking her whole body ;D;

I love it when she 'duddles' our (very tolerant) cat by pinning her to the floor like a giant starfish!

I love it when my lo says, "good girl Mom" or "good job Mom" for doing random stuff like cleaning off her high chair.

Wow! 13 pages. I'm just getting started but I wanted to add some, because many days I just want to get online and mention the cute things that my toddlers are doing - which, naturally, I'm going to forget now that I want to add to this thread. ::)

DD is 20 mo. I love the way she says things like, "No way!" or demands things, only to be met with a "be nice young lady" and then she changes her tune to a "please?". Or when she tries to sing "I lah you, I lah you, big hug" and lays a HUGE hug on me. Those hugs and kisses included are her specialty. Oh, how I love those giant hugs!

Thankfully, ds still loves to hug and kiss as well, though he doesn't do it as spontaneously any more. But he DOES love to runrunrunrun towards me at full speed and topple me over with a hug.

Both are getting independent and want to do things on their own. DS's favorite phrase these days is "My turn Foti" and sometimes has a FIT if I put the spoon in his bowl instead of giving it to him to do it. ::)  I think I've overdone the "you're such a big guy now". :P  Now, he's also starting to "spell", and he'll put magnetic letters together at random and "spell" a word, which he kind of does read. :o  Oh, and there's already a short list of words that he's able to read. :o :o

They are such a handful but I just love my 2 little bugs!!

And I thought we were good with singing the alphabet.  Last night she ran around the kitchen/living room singing "wheels on the bus go round and round" over and over.  Is that aerobic or anaerobic exercise?   :D

Jenn, Claire has been singing that song as well.  She loves the part where the bus driver tells them to "MOVE ON BACK!"

Yesterday out of the blue Claire said, "I love you so much."  I melted into a pile right there.

Can I join in? Some of the posts have really made me chuckle, and some have melted my heart!

Just wanted to share what Leo did last night (16 months). He spilled some of his milk, gave a big 'UH-OH', toddled over to the packet of baby wipes, took one out, went back to the spill, mopped it up ver vigorously, toddled over to the bin, deposited the baby wipe into it, sat down, clapped his hands and said 'Good Boy'!  :D

So sweet!
