when to pump?
« on: March 31, 2007, 15:22:26 pm »
Quick question, when is the best time to pump after a feeding.  I need a bottle for 1 feeding tomorrow.  Thank you!

Wait at least on hour after feeding and you always have more supply during the morning time before 1:00.  I usually pump at the same time everyday and your body gets used to it and continues to make enough for you and the baby, but it may take a while to get your supply up enough if you haven't been pumping.

Thank you.  I also needed to clear up one more thing.. how long does it take for the food you eat to be in the milk?   I have heard 8 hours?  is this acurate?
