Hi all.... my wife and I have a 5 day old newborn. Im spending a bit of my awake time on this brilliant forum, and i was just wondering in general:
so if the idea is to soothe a baby to sleep ( when its sleep time of course ) .. then how would you start to soothe an
overtired
baby ? isnt that just a vicious circle ?
thanks for any advice...

Do you swaddle? My ds calms down quickly after swaddling. I would hold mine til crying calmed, then put him in his bouncy chair and bounce him while shhing, with a dummy.

Swaddle is one great thing, the on A time only very low thing, basically as you baby is only 5 days, its sleep or feed time all the time
