Is it ok for naps to get longer throughout the day?
« on: April 04, 2007, 16:04:30 pm »
My DD is 5.5 months old and for the last 2 months we have struggled with the 45 min nap.... this past week though they have been getting longer  ;D.... the morning nap is usually 50 min, the 2nd nap 1.15hr and the last nap 1.20hr... i know that they should be getting shorter as the day goes on but W2S never worked to extend so I am just happy that she is napping.. She still sleeps 11-12 hrs a night... last week she was sleeping all night but this week she has been back at a wakeup anywhere from 3-5 am to eat... any advice?

A regular day kind of looks like this.....

E 700 wake and eat
A
S 900-950

E 1100
A
S 1200- 110-115

E 300
A
S 315-330 - 445-500

Bath, massage, pj, bottle, buddle bed by 700..

This has just started though due to 45 min naps in the past... Shortest A time is in the morning getting longer through out day and so do the naps... usually only 1 night waking at 500 if any... more lately due to milestones, teething, etc.
