1st Foods vs. 2nd Foods? Schedule?
« on: April 21, 2007, 04:49:34 am »
Hi Ladies -
I'd like to know what you think of this schedule.... and when did you introduce 2nd Foods?  Meats?  Cheese?  My pediatrician says that she can have pretty much anything now (he said wait on meat) as long as it's mashed up.  What other foods have you given at this stage?

I have a beautiful 6.5 month old daughter.  She goes four hours between feedings and is on following schedule:

7:30AM awake and breakfast - cereal and fruit and BF
10:00AM nap
11:30/12:00PM lunch - veggie and BF
2:30PM nap
4:00ish after nap bottle of diluted apple juice
4:30/5:00 dinner - veggie, sometimes gnaws on Gerber biscuit, and BF
6:15 bath
7:00 BF and bed

She doesn't wake up until about 4:30AM briefly and then goes back to bed.  How does that compare with your EASY routine?

Thanks for your input!

If I remember correctly I started with second foods after 8 months closer to 9 months.
And I still have not given him his own juice yet.
I believe in to start slowly and give these little bodies lots of time to get used t o new stuff.
