16mo waking with wind from the bedtime bottle?
« on: May 02, 2007, 05:03:22 am »
Hello All!
Just wondered if anyone had experienced the same problem and what to do about it.
Ds is currently having 2 8oz bottles morning and evening.
The problem is that sometimes he wakes in the night obviously from wind (I hear him passing wind and then he goes back to sleep) and I was wondering if it was from the bottle. We've made a large hole in the teet - could this be the reason? Is it because the milk is coming out too fast?
I don't think there are special teets for toodlers are there?

I have tried giving the milk in a sippy cup - but he's not having any of it, although he has water all day long in one. What can I do? Do you think the teet is to blame?

When is the best age to cut all bottles? I colud probably get away with the AM bottle if I gave him breakfast straight away. Should I try cutting the bed time bottle to see if it makes a difference to his sleep? He's a really good little eater, so calcium intake is not a problem.
Any advice would be great!
Thanks!
Lis and Nicholas
xx
