Not yet!

Trips to shops still very useful - about a 15 minute walk and need somewhere to put the bags!

My friend had an almost 3 yr old when her baby was born and still uses a double a fair bit. I guess it depends how much walking you do.

I agree it depends how much walking you do, and how tied to deadlines you often are!!

I have 18 mos between my two, bought a double stroller and only used it a handful of times!! Maybe that was because I found it so hard to leave the house  :-\ (not to scare you!)

Jack stopped using a stroller completely when he was just over two - and we walk A LOT! He just made the decision and never went back. Need to set off early every time we leave the house though!

Ryan stopped using his stroller at 3 yrs . We took it with us if we were going to do a lot of walking or out for a full day as it was great for naps and shopping .

My second is 5 months now. The stroller was a big issue for me. My dd is 3 1/2 and certainly could walk if I needed her to. However, I felt like if she saw me pushing her brother in a stroller that she would want to be pushed as well. I also thought about the places I'd need a stroller in the next couple of years. My conclusion was to buy a Peg Perego stroller that has a place for my dd to stand on the back. It is not a true "sit/stand" stroller but I did not want that. I also bought a double jogging stroller b/c I knew going to the gym to work out would not be an option for a long time. I have to say I use the jogging stroller a whole lot more than the Peg. Although, I am VERY happy to have both. Hope that helps :)
