facing forward in front carrier
« on: May 17, 2007, 13:57:43 pm »
For those of you who have a front carrier for your  babies.. at what age did you turn them around and face them forward?  I am unsure as to when to do this.  She is 3.5 months and has good head control, but it scares me a bit to try it.  When did this happen for you all?  Thanks.

Think we started around 2 months - but Katie has always had very strong head control. Initially we only did it for 5 mins at a time - she loved it but got tired quickly. Now she's nearly 4 months and she's OK in there for an hour or so and absolutely loves it!  It's Katie's favourite pastime - we go to the local shops, to church, everywhere...

I would give it a go - it's the only way to find out - but just for a short walk around the block initially, so that she doesn't get too tired and so that you can easily turn her around if she doesn't like it.

Have fun!

It was around that time for us as well.  I held onto his head for a bit, just to make myself feel better.  He loved it!  I loved it, too, until he got too big and I threw out my back..... ::)
