Dreamfeed and Cluster Feed amounts
« on: May 20, 2007, 04:49:42 am »
I am currently bfing and bottlefeeding with a supplementer. We are going to start cluster feeding and dreamfeeding. DS is five weeks old, and takes about 4oz formula per feed, we are on a three hour EASY. When you cluster feed does your lo take the regular amount of formula, more or less? Also the same for the dreamfeed?

My ds wpuld usually eat every 2 hours before bedtime and sometimes only 3 ozs and then he would maye take four.  I would offer the bottle, and if he didnt take it, then give him a little while longer.  HE started sleeping through the night at 8 weeks.  Good luck, Christie

I would make up a 4 oz feed and offer it to your lo to see how much he takes.  Once you are established on the feed, you can then adjust the amount you make up.

Good luck and keep us posted on how you get on.
