Too much Baby Einstein?
« on: May 22, 2007, 01:00:37 am »
My lo is just turning 16 months and I wonder how much baby E is too much?  He has it on for each meal and on our rides in the car which will be over 20 minutes.

He could really care less about tv otherwise.  My dh is gone all day and I have always had the tv on at home even though I hardly watch it.  I just can't stand not having the company (IYKWIM).  When my ds is playing in the living room, he doesn't pay attention to it except when Jeopardy is on, he loves the music and bright lights I think.

The funny thing about Baby E, he has actually learned sign language from the Baby Signs DVD, so much that I had to sit and watch it so I knew what he was saying :-[

TIA

Wow what a clever little chap!

Riley watches the Wiggles movie probably once a day on average! We do try to turn it off for meal times though unless its been one of those days. The big problem is she eats so slowly while watching telly dinner takes twice as long!

If you feel he's ok with the amount he watches, I'm sure it's fine.  We try not to have it on at lunch and especially dinner but he sure does love his Big Bird in the mornings while dh is trying to get them out of the house!
