She keeps falling asleep!

HELP!

Ok we stopped nap time about a month ago.  Instead, we've been doing quiet time.  She lays on the couch and watches Dora for 1-1.5 hours.  But lately she's been falling asleep!  I just don't know what else to do.  she obviously needs/wants the nap but then bedtime isn't until freaking 10:00!!!!!!!!!!!   And the vicious cycle continues!  HELP!

What time does she drop off during the day?

Her quiet time is 1:30-3:00 which is the only time I can make it since DS naps at that time.  I check on her about 2:00 pm and the past two days she was asleep by then.

Could you wake her by 2.30pm?  That's what I have to do with Alex regardless of the time that she falls asleep because her bedtime will be too late otherwise.  She is a little grumpy when I wake her but she soon comes round with a little encouragement, A walk will help sometimes.

I could but then she'd end up waking my son!  I definitely don't want that.  But I am hopiong that soon he'll be on one nap which means that he'll go in earlier so she'll be up definitely by 2

Could you stay with her? Maybe have her watch in the lounge/tv room instead so that she be next to you. Try giving her a nap every 3-4 days instead???

I have done the every 3 or 4 days and that didn't work at all!  The day of the nap, she'd be up until 10:00 and the whole thing would start again....

I'm going to try waking her at 2:30 if she sleeps tomorrow and see how that goes.  Thanks girls :)
