Wondering about Spinach also about Bread?

My DD is 8+ months old. I give her tiny bits of ripped off bread but am wondering when I can give her toast or what can I put on bread for her? She eats just about anything I give her but I worry about her choking on bread as it is dry?
Our food is getting boring. She loves anything she can pick up!
When she can have spinach? I got the recipes that were posted..YUM for momma!

Spinach, according to Super Baby Foods... 9 months for cooked, 10 months finely chopped raw.  Of course, Annabel Karmel has spinach in the 4-6 month category.

thanks..yumm superbaby w ith spinach LOL
can i give her bread now and toast as well though? I haven't really yet..just baby cookies etc
