Having problems adding blinky and ticker

I would like to have a bday ticker and a blinky but, it won't let me how come when others have both? I run out of characters when I try to put them in my profile, what am I doing wrong?

I have 22 characters left after i have put a blinkie and ticker with Ryan's name and date of birth . Are you trying to put a ticker with picture ? Maybe this is why you don't have enough room .

No, no picture on the ticker, it was a ticker factory one do they use a longer code?

copy & paste all the code you require into the main body of your post and I'll have a look to see if there's some way to shorten it for you.  You can usually claim back some characters by removing the portion that links back to the site you got the ticker from.

Ok, it was a tight squeeze, but I think I got it how you would like it :)

Oh the pictures came up not the code how do I get the code then?

To get code to display you need to wrap the text in the Code tags in the main Reply screen (not Quick Reply).  The Code tag button is the # one.  However, I only had to go in and edit your post to see the code, so it wasn't a problem :) :)
