Birthday Party Ideas
« on: August 05, 2007, 04:30:37 am »
I have a feeling I am in the wrong area for this thread but here goes.

I am having Charlie's 2nd Birthday party on Monday in the park.  I was wondering if any mom's had ideas to entertain other toddlers.

ie, jello in a basin with hidden toys to dig out, water station with cups and such (I've told the parents to bring a change of clothes), Bubble station.  I don't want to do anything structured but have places near by where they can visit, eat, re-visit and so on.

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

That sounds wonderful to me!!!

Could you take a big tub of bricks/lego so they can build and make things..thats easily cleared up afterwards and wont leave a mess in the park.

You could also take along a big batch of home made playdough.. this again is easy to take and nice to play with and is biodegradable if it gets everywhere in the park.

A simple treasure hunt might be nice to.. the kids (with parents)  have to find a card and bring it back to you to exchange for a treat.

My friend had a great idea for her little ones birthday - we all had to take a ride on so they all could ride about and have a go on each others cars and things.. they loved it.

H xx

Hope you have a wonderful party.

Fantastic Ladies!

We had a great time.  I got a small pool and put a bunch of sponges in it (big hit) as well as another with bubbles. They were good.  Could have probably been better had I been a more attentive but I just them have come and go as they wanted.

Thank you all.
