What is moon sand?

Thanks for the dummy tip! I remember ages ago I saw a doll with a magnetic dummy, so you only need to put it to the doll's mouth wich would make it easier. Maybe I should look for one of those. Makes total sense that they need to be able to do it themselves, that's the fun part.

I read on another post of yours that dd will be starting school soon.  What about a backpack, to get her excited.  You can put a picture of you, and a favorite something of hers so there is a piece of home and mommy with her, and a new pacifier, (only for school) if they are allwed.  I assume you will have to send a change of clothes also.  And a lunch box...if one is needed.

Ahh, but when I wet our sand to make it mouldable, it sticks ALL over the kids so messy.  I wanted DH to put moon sand in our outside sandpit, but waaay to expensive!

Oh Aidliz that's a fantastic idea ;D Thanks! Yes we will have to get her all that apart from lunch box as food is provided. The picture of me is such a nice thought and she will have a paci for sleeping there (and need new ons as she's been biting holes in all of hers ::) ) I love this idea!

That moon sand is really cool! Would be expensive to fill your outside sandpit tho :P LOL

my son is a boy but he carries around a recorder everywhere!! (little toy instrument) he pretends its a sink to wash his hands, a cup, a gun, a guitar and anything BUT a recorder but he loves it!
