:( pretty bad night. Lots of stirring, then
NW 11.40-12 meds and bottle
EW 5, went quiet, 5.30 ugh! Screamed at me. Gave bottle and drained it ??? Seems to have gone back to sleep after another scream fest at me. (5.50)
Update * WU 7.20

So is this likely OT? Or teeth. I have No idea anymore what I'm doing. In the past OT hasn't caused this :-\ I'm so grumpy right now - sleep child!

I don't think he's OT, his routine looks good for 11 months and seems like he is getting enough day sleep  ??? Plus you say OT hasn't looked like this before, teething gel settles him, the frequent stirring sounds like discomfort, and I would say teeth are the problem.  It's hard though, I always felt like blaming teeth was kind of a cop out and there should be something I could change to fix things yk?  But teeth really can cause so many problems.  Hugs,  hope they are through soon!

Thanks for the vote of confidence :-*

So...he did 1.5 woke happy (11.25-12.55) this is such a terrible time really. The CN will be so late..but I think he will hit massive OT on 1.5 and 5 hrs A :-\

Ill try 20 mins at 4.40-5 and aim for 7.15 BT? .??? * update 4.40-5.05 and asleep by 7.25

In your ladies opinions - should I push gently till we hit 4.5 and hope for the 2hr lunchtime nap in a few weeks and drop that CN? Or should I hold for a while. Really this CN is a pita with 2...but the lunchtime nap will likely interface with Z at daycare at least 1 x a week so in a way I could use this day to such up on OT and offer it if I have too.

DH did mention - and I wonder if he is right? If T is going to fight the CN maybe try the am CN. Problem with this is he doesn't settle if he isn't tired. So we would still have to do this late ie 10-30-11 with pm nap at 1.30-3 (and I don't even know if he would take that nap)

Ugh the 2-1 is such a pita!

I agree that the night sounds like it was teething. Poor thing.
IIWY I would leave the AM nap as it is, you don't want to have to deal with that one as well, do you?
I would try for a few days to have the PM nap at 15:45 for 30min and if he is fighting that as well then I would do it at a time you know he will go down (16:15?) but will start capping it to 20min and perhaps even shorter than that if you still get BT resistance.

How easy is it to do sebt?  I wonder if you should just push through to one nap *most* days and then throw in the odd late cn... just another suggestion to add to the list!!

Last night was fab :) (for him!)
BT 7.25
NW 11.15ish feed and back to bed
WU 6.30
He also resettled himself 1 x in the night :)

I'm abit gutted for today, I have to be somewhere around 12 so I either try to pd early and hope for 1.5 hrs....or wake him and hope for an ok pm ???

I would if he was napping longer :-\ he is only sleeping 1.5 though so I'm not sure how to get him to do longer other than keep gently pushing the am ???

It might be that he won't nap longer than 1.5h till he is on one nap. That's how it was for us.

Today
WU 6.35
Nap 10.35-12
CN 4-4.30 (closer to 25 mins though) I had to APOP at 3.55 after he rejected it at 3.45
BT not good ::) attempted at 6.40 but not asleep till 7.05/10 (too scared to check him after WI/WO and cuddles!)

I don't think he was that tired for his am nap after such a good night. :-\ so I may try an extra 15 mins tomorrow.

O was never a good napper but with one nap I'd just push him hard to go till 11am and often he'd sleep longer than usual. When our every afternoon nap was driving around or tryin to apop I gave up. Often he'd sleep 2hrs ish on the one nap and if he didn't I'd do bt early. Perhaps one day try pushing him till much later and see what happens? If it doesn't work you have at least ruled it out!

Yeah I may have to Laura. Especially because with Zac I just took him for a drive.i can't with Tom as I have Zac to worry about YK? He is huge to rock to sleep (10.5 kg and 91st percentile for height) so really I think I have to get him to take the CN, or push a little to see if I can get a better nap... :-\

Ill try 4hrs15 tomorrow unless we get a bad night. Maybe that will be enough to get the longer nap (I can hope right ;) )

I think that one of the problems is that you are trying to keep a 12h night, but it seems he wants to sleep 11-11.5h at night. Am I right? With a 6:30WU you had yesterday I would have put at 19 and maybe that way he wouldn't have fought BT.

I guess I am aiming for a 12 hr day...but it's based on his A times. Do you think it's a little unrealistic. If I add 30 mins A do I just give him longer A after the CN...it just seems like a long A after a CN.

Last night he STTN 12 hrs! :o I think it's probably teeth but ill take it!

BT 7.10
STTN
WU 7.15
I'm going for a 15 min A increase and 1 nap if he does 2+ hrs...sound ok?
