me neither?  i'm just expecting it at some point.  she is going to sleep later each night and is really happy.  I actually think stopping the bf at night seems to have helped her sleep - not sure why or how, probably a coincindence.

chin up hun.  I know things are tough right now.  Her sleep will settle down soon.

L has all her teeth bar her 2nd molars now so hopefully we willg et a break.
xx

Hi Aleesa and everyone!
Lois' naps settled into a quite good pattern last week where she'd usually sleep about 2-2.5 hrs around 12 noon, and we could go back to her 'normal' bedtime of 7:30, which always worked well for her in the past. She'd usually go straight to sleep at that time, and sleep really well at night. Only thing is that she'll only take 10 hrs at night now, where she used to sleep 11 or 11.5. Mornings have been very early and I'm not sure 10 hrs is enough at night really, cos even if she does 2 hrs at nap, that's only like 12... but even if I do bedtime a bit earlier, she always wakes up after 10 hrs! OT signs have slowly and gradually disappeared so don't think she's waking early cos of that. Any ideas? I've tried settling her back to sleep, but it's impossible, and she's not hungry, doesn't want milk til after an hr or more.

This week might be a bit more challenging as she's now having a high temperature. Started yesterday and she had her MMR last Mon, so think it's an effect of that (nurse told me she could react with fever and joint pain as a mild version of the live-vaccine is affecting her) She had 39.6 C yesterday and 39 C this morning. Has been VERY tired, falls asleep in my arms, which **NEVER** happens otherwise, so had 3 naps yesterday, and is having first nap now from 9:40 am today... Guess things will be all over the place now til she's better again, but I really hope things will go back to working well nap-wise again.

Any thoughts on the 10 hr nights would be appreciated!

Aleesa, how's Lilly doing on the 1 nap?

HI Vicku,

Lilly has been waking earlier too  :(  These girls talking again  :D  I feel the same - yesterday she had 2.5hr nap, because she really needed it. I tried for a 2 nap day, btu she just didn't want it in the morning - played fro 30mins so got her out.  this moring she woke at 4.45am  :o but I got her back to sleep at 5.30, only to have her wake an hour later.  then her naps were all over the shop - she woke 45mins into her nap and I coldn't get her back down.. so tried again at 2 and she slept fro 1hr 10.  she was soo tired and with a little temp too! but took her half hour to get to sleep so stil a 7pm bedtime.  I really think it's more teeth, or at least more pain with the ones coming through here.  I mean she has them all bar her 2nd molars - surely they aren't in yet!!!  she is chewing away, and woke 3times last night doing the same thing.  So I don't know if it is OT, or not...

We can both just pray for good nights to 'reset' the day I guess. She seems to be getting 12hrs total now, which by looking at her is just not enough   :(

will keep you posted and hope lois and lilly stop talking - we need to ground them I think!
Aleesa.....

Hi!

We had a day with 3 naps, then two days with 2 naps and back to 1 nap today. She's been asleep for 1 hr 20 min so far, so I hope it'll be a good one! Oh, can't believe it  >:(  *JUST* as I wrote that, she woke up... oh well, guess it'll take her a few days to get back into having only one nap. Just couldn't keep her awake, she was just going to sleep in our arms, on the sofa, wherever she was. (Must admit I quite enjoyed it as she *never* sleeps on us, or even relaxes long enough in our arms to have a good cuddle. She just climbs around all the time!) Well, better go get her...
I'm sure you'll be back on track soon again!  :-* to Lilly
