I have a 13 week old LO who has been a great sleeper all her life. We've been on a three hour routine for weeks and things have been great. Until last week. She went through a GS and was eating alot. That seemed to pass and her eating has gone back to normal (she now eats more at each feeding). However, her naps have gotten horrible. She wakes up after 45 minutes, every nap. I can go in and sh/pat to settle her down, but even with 30-40 minutes of sh/pat, she won't fall back into a deep sleep. She's also started waking more at night and takes over an hour to settle again. She takes a pacifer which helps quite a bit, until it falls outs when she is still in her light sleep. I swaddle her for all naps and bedtime, but she can work her arms out of it when she wants to. Here's our typical schedule:
7AM feed (BF)
7:15 Activity
8AM Sleep
10AM Feed (4-6 oz formula)
10:15 Activity
11 Sleep
1PM Feed (4-6 oz formula)
1:15 Activity
2PM Sleep
4 Feed (4-6 oz formula)
4:15 Activity
5:30ish Catnap
7 Feed (BF)
7:15 Activity
8 Bedtime
10 DF (BF)
1:30 or 2AM feed (BF)
That's the "ideal" schedule anyway. That hasn't been the case the last few days. She's a really fast eater (always has been), so that doesn't take much of her A time. I wonder if her activity time needs to be extended, but she's pretty obvious with her sleeping cues and goes down easily. Also, am I AP by going in when she wakes up after 45 minutes? I don't want that to become a habit. I'm really frustrated and tired and could use some advice! Any thoughts are appreciated!
