Oh yes, a challenge indeed! J couldn't seem to get the toilet door open yesterday for some reason, and has started headbanging when he's frustrated....well, you can imagine what happened! I only hope the silly sausage has learned that banging your head on a hard door = hurty!!  ::)

Oh, LOL, poor little thing! Nick does that on purpose and laughs his head off too- sigh.

Cathie, I know I am late but hugs on the fright and being pulled over! I just want to add that super spirited Leorah is also in a grobag and has never climbed out of her cot, then again she loves it in there! She used to climb in all the time but now one end is super jacked up because of colds and her ears it is very wobbley if she tries climbing so she just asks usually. When she was younger she would use her arms to pull up and hang over the cot, I imagine Nick could have done this and that's why he hit his head. I am leaving L in her cot as long as poss, her legs will have to poke through the bars at the bottom before I will voluntaily get her a BB  ;D She also went through a phase of taking her grobag off so we put it on inside out but she is over that and it is rare she unzips it. Good luck and try and keep him in his cot!!

Thanks for all the hugs- :-*
Sleepy bags are working!!! Plus, I truly think the fall was unintentional and it may have scared the living daylights out of him :o- which, could be a good thing, knowing my child! I bet my bottom dollar he was holding onto the toprail, bouncing like he was on the trampoline at gym class, head went over and the rest followed. eek.  ;D ::)
So far, no more attempts at getting out! Phew!
I'm keeping the little stinker in there as long as possible-can't I use a posey vest and tie him to the mattress? ;D
Also- he's now sleeping 11.5-12 hours since his fall- do you think it jarred something loose in his head? -LOL, too funny!

Yay for sleeping bags!!! Maybe I should have got one for Masyn instead of going to a BGB.....glad to hear he's sleeping well, even if he had to come by it in a hard way!  ;D

Katt! LOL!
Mukta- he did only take an hour nap yesterday! yikes. 11.5 hours last night, but more molars are poking  through...eek.

No more escapes, yet. I'm definitely looking for a tent covering type thing that goes over a sleigh style crib, as I'm still nervous and he's nimble, you know? Thank heavens no more BOOMs have occurred!

Hi,
I haven't read through all the other posts - so, sorry if someone has already suggested this.  DS#1 climbed out of his crib and I was absolutely NOT ready for a big bed (due to having a new baby etc that I was struggling with naps etc..- and still am LOL!)  so a friend suggested a crib tent.  I got one the day after he climbed out and he LOVES it!  He thinks it's great and one time I forgot to zip it up and he called me on the monitor telling me I hadn't zipped him in!!  Anyway, it's been a godsend for us (and my friend).  You can buy on amazon and lots of other places -  http://www.amazon.com/Tots-Mind-Cozy-Crib-White/dp/B00014PLAY

Or just do a search for crib tent.  Well worth the money IMO.  Toby will be 3 in March and I don't see him moving into a big bed anytime soon.  One of the main reasons I didn't want him to move into a big bed is because he still naps really well (and sleeps well at night) and I didn't want to rock the boat!!

Also, I should say that Toby sleeps in a Grobag but he could take it off - and one friend even suggested to put it on backwards and he still undid it!  Now I make sure I put the zip up to the top (backwards) so he can't undo it - or he'll get cold.

If you do go the crib tent route, make sure you push the zip right down as the little monkey worked out that he could put his finger in the gap and open the zip if I hadn't pushed it right down!
