It took about an hour and half. I swear it seems like "besides being overtired" that something is bothering her. Even on me on the rocking chair she kept lifting her head up and crying. well tomorrow is another day. well than there's tonight "lol". I'm sure it's possible that the ears are still bothering her even though there healing.

well yesterday she want to the inlaws so it was hard to go by the schedule. she ended up taking one long nap from like 11:15 and slept for like close to 3 hours over there.  than even though it's only 10 minutes, on the way home from picking her up she fell asleep. It was I think 4:45pm and she slept for less than an hour. Good thing was she was in bed and sleeping by 8:15pm. She has been getting up once around 3am ish in the middle of the night for a bottle. This morning she woke at 6:30am.  I also think that the medicine she is taking is giving her side effects as she is pooping a lot more and there loose. It's a side effect of the medicine. What is concerning is the fact feeding her solids is always a very frustrating experience. I have been feeding her an hour after her bottle and she is outright refusing all fruits and veggies now. I'm lucky if I can coax her into eating a few spoon fulls - all the while she whines...than it just gets to the point where I have to give up as she just gets more and more frustrated. This is been going on "off and on" for a good month at least. She refuses veggies and fruits more than she takes them. I don't know what is wrong with her. Anyways: I'm still working on the whole schedule and the napping for an hour in the morning, about an hour and half for 2nd nap. bottle and than food an hour later and I have stopped for now giving her rice and/or any dinner. This morning she even refused some oatmeal I mixed with applesauce. ahhhhhhh

The eating situation has been going on for awhile and I'm not so sure it's all related to coaxing. However, I'm sure that isn't making the experience any more pleasurable.

Today she did better on the bottles. bottle 1 was 4 oz but every bottle after that was 6oz - actually 7 oz her last bottle. Whether it's luck or not - I've been counting 3 hours and 45 minutes before taking her up to bed. Both times today she went down rather quickly. She didn't want to eat solids of course. However, she did munch on some veggie puffs and even played with and put some cut up spinach filled tortellini I made my for my husband and I. I was just putting real small pieces on her tray and she was having fun with it. Even put a few in her mouth. We are talking small time snacking. I have to admit that her first nap I let her sleep from 10:30am to   12:15pm. Than her second nap was from 4pm to about 4:50pm. I haven't quite tried to work on switching to a smaller nap in the morning and a later one in the afternoon.

TOday is going to be a strange day. First for the first time in a LONG time she slept thru the night. ONly problem is she woke up for a bottle at 5am. She has done this before and I have gotten her to go back to sleep until anywhere from 7am to 8am. However, this morning she ended up not going back to sleep. I thought I'd bring her into bed with me "I only do that once in a blue moon" but thats when she really woke up. So it's 6am and I'm downstairs with her. Than my husband is coming home early and we have an ear dr. appointment in boston at 1:30pm.  It's a good hour a way and she'll definetly be sleeping in the car both ways. I'll have to try to put her for a nap before we even go too as she can't stay up from 5:am to noon when we are leaving.

Ya i'm just trying to wait for this medicine to be done with and her ear infection to be completely gone. Plus her cutting back on bottles is definetely not the norm unless something is wrong. We'll see today, but yesterday she seemed more normal with her bottle intake. She did go like 6 hours between her morning bottle and her 2nd bottle yesterday - where usually it's every 3-4 hours.

HERE is my DILLEMA for that SCHEDULE: Unless she changes she seems more like a 4 HOUR UP time. So for example:
7am up and bottle
8am try solids
11am "bottle? nap?" How can it be both?
say napping by 11:15/11:30
up an hour later say 12:15
bottle
1 hour later try solids
4:15pm "which is 4 hours later" - nap. It's still late? Even 4pm which is 3 hours and 45 minutes.
Cant' get an hour in a half in this late. It would be like 6:30pm.

ok now that she doesn't seem to have her ear infection at this current time - her napping is a lot easier. I am not spending an hour or more trying to get her to fall asleep. She has been taking 2 naps too. Although I still need to work on a shorter nap in the morning and a longer one in the afternoon. She does the opposite. I have even gotten her to sleep by 7:30pm a few times. She is still not interested in any solids in any which way so currently we are only on formula. She is sort of at times having 2 bottles anywhere from 4-7 oz with only a 2 1/2 hour break inbetween. She's done that a few times recently. but than again, she also had 2 days where she was picky about her bottle too this week. One particular morning and this was after having a bottle like 2am - didn't want to have a bottle until 8:30am and that was after waking up at around 5:30am.

This is her schedule yesterday and today.

yesterday:
after sleeping around 8pm
woke up 4:30am and fell back to sleep - 4oz
5:30am- UP
8:30am - 5 1/2 oz and sleep
10am wake up
1:00pm 7 oz bottle and sleep
230 - wake up
3:30 - 3 oz "?" She couldn't wait but stopped at 3oz
7:/7:30 - 8 oz and sleeping by 7:30pm

woke up 3am - had  6 oz
6:30am - up.
7:00am - 3 1/2 oz
9am - 5 1/2 oz
9:15am - sleeping
10:35/10:40am - wake up
1pm: 3 1/2 oz close to 4oz
2pm: sleeping

Ya sometimes it just works out in a way where she really wants her bottle and than falls asleep. She woke up at 3:30pm this afternoon. I wasn't going to wake her if she slept any longer. but anyways, the up time for the rest of the day definetely won't end up being 5 hours or at least I don't think so. Hopefully I can have her asleep by 7:30pm.
