Fantastic!

IMO you have to design the techniques to suit your child - it matters not whether it's 'official' WI/WO, all that matters is it works. Well done you!

Just to sound a note of caution however - she's still only getting 11.5 hours sleep each day, whereas kids this age usually need 12.5. I know every child is different and needs different amounts of sleep, but my concern would be that if her routine is disrupted for any reason (teething, illness, missing a nap) then she will get OT again verrrry quickly. I'd still think about moving bedtime another half hour forwards.

That aside, I'm really pleased that things have improved so much for you. Good work!

Well done!! We also do a slightly modified version of WI/WO as my ds thought coming out of his room was hilarious...needless to say I didn't share the joke  ::) so we go in as soon as I hear him getting out of bed (as he sleeps with the door closed for darkness)-I agree with pp sometimes you have to tweak techniques to suit your own LO. Well done,I hope it continues!!

Yes, thank you for posting the result of your efforts - I agree often when people get on track they no longer post!  :)

Congrats on working out something that worked for you & your daughter....
