That sucks - I was hoping he would manage one of his really long naps to get plenty of rest.  I did just want to add, though, that when E was on 2 naps we did sometimes get UT NWs, even if she had not had enough sleep during the day - she is getting more sleep on one nap than she did towards the end of 2.

Can you AP a catnap - after all this advice about going to 1 nap! ;D

I'll try to ap a CN around 4:45 for 15-20 mins....praying to GOD that it works.  Surprisingly, he seems ok right now.  Dancing around, he just ate some yogurt.  DH mentioned something but we both think it's pretty far fetched. Since H is doing really well recognizing the sensation of having to go to the potty, he's thinking maybe that's why he's waking at night...or even short napping? But we were getting really good long naps doing 2 naps?

PTing can disrupt their sleep, but I'm not sure if it would when you are not doing it 'properly' if you get what I mean?  Is he sleeping better at night on 2 naps?

well, before we went up to the cabin he was only waking once, usually when the motrin wore off. Once we went to the cabin, he started to wake twice while we were there. The day we came home he did a 40 min nap there and then a 1.75 hr nap I woke him from...and then slept GREAT that night. But, don't know if it was from the lack of sleep while we were away.  So, in a short answer....he's waking up either way but I just figured teething because after a dose of meds he goes right back to sleep.
