The coming to our bed has never bothered us it was just the constant waking for a bottle when he was with us that was the issue! Our oldest DS used to come in early hours every morning until he started school, then it stopped, so thats not a huge issue for us, it wont be forvever, but i needed sleep from constantly getting up for  bottle!

We have now had 3 nights where he has slept until 5am in his BBB without a bottle at all, so i'm extremely happy with that!

That's awesome.  ;D ;D Sending you some good vibes so that it lasts. No matter what the reason, getting up in the middle of the night is not fun for anyone. Whether it's for a bottle, teething, nightmares. It's never pleasant when it is constant because all we do as mommies is try to catch up on sleep.

he is loving his new BBB, i'm so glad i just did it! he has been going to sleep so well at night, no fights, no crying just lays there, has a little chat and falls asleep! I havent had that in awhile either.

I'm NOT going back to what we were like for nothing.

Today when I was getting him ready for his nap, from habbit i said "ok, mummy just get your bot bot"
He looked at me and said "NO mummy, I'm too bug for bot bots remember" haha it was so cute, I said "Oh silly mummy" so he understands that they are gone now!

He isnt to fussed on the sippy with milk so i wont bother getting it for him soon, i will maybe just make him warm milk in a big boy mug like the older kids before bed!
His eating hasnt really picked up yet either, he worries me with his eating, and now he's not having any milk i will start to worry again if it doesnt pick up soon!

I find milk to be too filling for a kid. If they drink less milk and you offer juice instead he will be hungry to eat. (I offer my dd half apple juice and half water)

He hasnt had any milk at all since tuesday, but he did eat alot for dinner last night and he just ate a full weetbix for breakfast so i'm hapy about that! It might have taken a few days for him to adjust to the no milk and more eating.

He asked for my chicken soup for breakfast and I had none so best make him some today, he will eat that for breakfast, lunch and dinner if i had it!
and its nice and cold here so perfect weather for soup!

he didnt sleep aswell last night, abit restless, but he has a slight headcold so he came into our bed about 3am, but he still didnt have any milk, so thats the bonus!

Glad to hear that he is eating. Too bad he has a cold. But TBH, I think it is great that he wants to eat soup and it is good for him and that cold.. ;D

Chicken soup is on the moenu for tomorrow morning, he has woken up today extra croupy and extra grumpy :( but he is still eating and he slept great again last night, just abit restless~!

Hey Siobhan it has been awhile in between posts, I am feeling much better about Max's sleeping, he is doing better (thankfully)

he isnt well, we had him at the hospital 5.30am as he was having trouble with his breathing, he has croup and couldnt even talk to us without taking lots of breaths, it was scary! They gave him steroids straight away and panadol for his fever! He is doing better now but still clingy to me so its another PJ day here today! He has 2 more doses of steroids for the next 2 days to clear his airway! We didnt sleep all night listening to his breathing! So a nanna nap is on the cards today i think!

He is still sleeping ok though, although it was with us most of last night :)

he is abit better today, complaining of a sore throat but GP said thats normal with croup as its not infected! Finishes steroids tonight so hope he feels better soon! Although i am enjoying the extra cuddles! :)
