Not sure Sarah but wanted to send along squishy hugs. It's so hard to see/hear your baby cry like that! My boy was doing it most of the night last night and I was helping when needed but it was sad...

thanks Danni, Karen :)

If I didn't have to wake her from her naps, I'd be really on board with the UT idea. I will stretch a bit more tomorrow.

It's so frustrating, isn't it.

Not so much now as DS will just play in his cot, but we also had screaming blue murder with UT.  I would try the pushing a bit and see what happens.

Many (((((hugs)))))) Sarah :-*

Thanks guys :-*

I've been adding to her A time. today we got 6 hours and she still cried. She got quiet. then cried. Then quiet..then cried and quiet again.

I took her out for an hour to a toddler program..came home for lunch and she started scrunching her nose and rubbing her eyes and doing the scrunchy nose noises and whining.

Just going to hope it stops soon? I think that's all I can do!  :-\

(((hugs))) Sarah.  It WILL end.  I know it doesn't seem like it at the time, but it will.  If she slept well before, then she will again.  Something is clearly bugging her, and while you can't always fix the problem you can certainly be there for her while she is going through it.  Everytime T had a sleep regression, or things went off, I would go nuts trying to figure it out.  But in hindsight, there was ALWAYS a reason, usually teeth or developmental, and once it passed things settled down.  (((hugs))) to her as well.   :-*

I am sorry things are still so hard. G also cries much more if she is UT than OT. Although at the moment, she is usually crying at naps, so I don't know.

I am sure it is just a phase and she will get back to going to sleep without crying. All you can do is be there for her. It is so difficult when they are crying and you don't know why.

Hugs for you both x

im glad ive found this, just posted similar in 2:1, jakobs banging his head off the sides of the cot most sleeps.

could be SA as he doesnt like to be in his cot alone, but im guessing mainly teeth OR maybe stretching A time OR OT because hes only averaging 12.5 hrs sleep  OR OR .... WHY is there always so many options :(

*hugs* Hope the answer manifests fr you soon...it's tough. I'm still on the fence about UT as she's taking a 2 hour nap. Her crying is getting a bit less and now just takes less than 10 seconds today ...may be teeth related. :S
