I think he will wake for a feed, if he does I guess I feed him but will that mean I am back into NF's?? I can't do much to increase his day supply as 7oz seems to be his max.

Tried a DF again but he started to stir and was turning his head away, so I stopped and put him back in bed- will feeding him during the night start NW again or could this just be a transition? He had 28 oz today + 3 solid meals- much better with his bottle now- may offer 8 oz tomorrow

He's getting plenty in the day, don't assume he needs feeding in the night try and resettle first. If you can't resettle of he wakes soon after he may be hungry but you could also try and offer water first.

Glad his intake is improving!

Agree with Laura - mine peaked at about 7 months with 3 meals and 28-30 ozs each day and didn't have any NF or a DF. :)  He is doing great!

1st night with no DF he went through until 7 am!! 2 nd day ( today) he woke at 5:00, I managed to put him off put wonder whether I should give him a small feed at 5:00 so he sleeps until later and then another feed at 7:00 to start the day. He seems a bit off his food/ milk yesterday so I wonder whether that was why he woke- teeth o think.

Hi kara- no dream feed is going well but over the past 2 days he is showing little interest in his 4:30 bottle before his solids and then little interest in his bedtime milk - sometimes only 3 oz ?? Could he be ready to drop his dinner bottle and jusg have a bedtime one??

Unlikely... What is his daily total of formula like?  Have you tried pushing it out to 5pm?  Sometimes the 4 hr deal gets pushed a little with the addition of solids... remember, formula is more important than any solids... I would reduce his dinner solids as you want him to take a BT bottle...

His 4:30 bottle is before solids and he is still not that fussed- today I am not too sure as DH had him as I was out but- his first two bottles were fine- so 16 oz together and then had about 4/5 oz at tea time and about 7 at BT after a battle but DH had given him a huge dinner !!

His daily total is fine based on today...

How old is he now?  My DD went through about a month of taking a smaller dinner bottle (was 8, but down to 4/5) before she was ready to drop to 3 bottles...   Could be that phase?  That said, she always finished her BT bottle of 8 ozs regardless.

These little people are funny creatures at times LOL!

My LO is still fighting the 4:30 bottle- he will take 5/6 oz but after a real fight- should I try not giving it and giving water with tea and then a BT bottle ( which he takes well although he falls asleep during it!)

He is 7 mths now and eating 3 solid meals + having 26 oz of milk

I wouldn't move to water at his age... formula is more important that solids until closer to a year.

Two ideas:

Reduce the solids he gets at lunch time so that he is hungry for the bottle at 430pm or,
Wait until 5pm and then offer his bottle.

If I wait until 5:00 for the bottle will his solid meal not effect his BT bottle?

What time does he get his BT bottle?  If it does cause an issue, you should reduce dinner solids.  He is only 7 months and 3 meals might be too much for him still.  Most babies are doing 3 good meals until closer to 9 months.
