Hi everyone,
In advance, thanks for your help! After weeks of nap chaos for my 13 month old twin girls, I'm convinced it's time to shift to one nap (unless you have better advice!).  Oh, and I'm still breastfeeding (hard to believe, isn't it!).  I've cut out two feeds so far.  I'm trying to wean the morning feed with this change.  The schedule I attempted today and it seemed to work for one day at least:

7am  awake
7:30 breakfast (solids, sippy cup)
10:30 big snack/mini lunch followed by breastfeed
11 - 11:30   the one nap of the day (shift this to later over time)
1 - 1:30    awake (hopefully not sooner!) (today they made it to 12:30)
1:30 lunch
4     cat nap, if necessary, hopefully not--I took them to the park today and bathed them early (before dinner)
5     dinner
6:30-7:00 winddown/bedtime

Any comments?
Any tips on keeping twins (or siblings) from waking each other up when they have to nap in the same room (our house is small)?

Thanks in advance!

The routine looks pretty great to me.we went cold turkey with sasha at that age too.
one thing i would just say is bring bedtime earlier for a little while otherwise they are awake a long time from their nap.
Hope that helps :-*

:) good to hear that cold turkey worked for you.  We're on day #3 and it seems to be suiting us really well actually.  I agree with the earlier bedtime--they're going to bed nearly an hour earlier (which is great!).  I'm surprised they are doing as well as they are--I guess they were ready.  I think it's also helped to feed them 4 meals a day instead of three...not sure exactly why this is working, but they are happier than ever!
Cheers!
