She never cried during Bath time, last 3 days she has!!!! why?

She is 4 months today and now she is crying from the moment daddy takes her clothes off till the moment I give her the breast for her last evening feed.
We use a plastic bath in our bedroom. The room is warm and everything still is the same. The only thing we've changed is from 3 h EASy to 3.5 to 3.75 h EASY.
She still has short naps. She did 3 days without a feed during the night now she is back to 1 feed at night!
Has anyone had a similar situation? Please advise

Couple of quick thoughts?

Is she having a growth spurt?  4 months is textbook time for them.  If she is and is hungry this could be putting her off her bath if she would rather be feeding.  It might also explain why she has started night feeds again.

Could she be OT at bedtime?  If you have changed schedules slightly it might be enough to put her out of sorts a bit.  Can you try bringing the bathtime forward or leaving it out for a night or two?

Final thought!  When DD1 went through a stage of crying at bath time we would have her bathe with either of us in the big bath.  This was enough to relax her and she was always fine in own bath after that.

We had this and to this day my DS needs to have his milk before bath.  So at that age I did one boob before bath and then the other before bed. HTH.

I do that too one before, one after. I think she was through a growth spurt, Emma (BF moderator) suggested to give her both breast during the day. It worked. She drinks more now and not so grumpy for bath, still moans a bit but not a constant cry. Relieve!!!

A bath tells her that bed time is coming after mums milk. She sleeps. the DF, the only thing that upsets her is wind down below! she can't get rid of. Bless her.

Last 2 nights only BF once.
