crib kicking---is he sleeping?
« on: December 05, 2007, 19:15:57 pm »
hmm, just wondering if others have noticed this??

this morning it started at 5:30am
was talking about 6am, and happy in crib til 6:30

so I am wondering if it is a half awake stage? normally I would hear it but then the talking would start only a few mintes later---not 30minutes? KWIM?

wish I had a video monitor!

We have that all the time here too  ::). I'm pretty sure DD is awake most of the time when she does this.

Could it be that he kicked the crib to change positions & then back to sleep for another 30mins? If Jasmine is constantly kicking her cot then I KNOW she's awake but sometimes she might kick it while changing positions & then back to sleep again...

Why don't you get a video monitor.... I swear its the best thing ever & I still use it with Isabella (& for Jasmine too).

Just wanted to add something after reading Layla's post. Once in a while, about 2 hrs. after DD goes to sleep at night, she kicks the crib (but usually only once) and then I don't hear anything else over the monitor so I assume she just did it in her sleep. I guess it depends whether it's more than once or twice  :-\  Wish I would've gotten a video monitor ages ago  ;) --- still don't have one but am rethinking that!

yup it was more then once, I just sort of wonder if it is a lighter stage of sleep though, like once every fine minutes a kick, but no talking.. :-\

have thought about a video monitor but I am already obsesed with Noah's sleep to a fault and I think the video monitor would probably make that worse.
