Hi all and thanks for the posts I have been reading over the past months
Have been trying this EASY lark since she was 7 mths and whilst we never had napping sorted we were doing at least 1 x 1hr nap per day+ 1 x 30 min. It's down to 2 x 30/45 mins per day but my gorgeous daughter is doing fine - really happy and in fine form. I'm fine with it too to be honest just means the house is a bit of a mess as I'm not getting the "Y" but hey ho!.
Also have the complication of nursery 2 days a week 8am - 6pm and she finds it hard to nap there. question is - is this routine harming my wee one? (she isn't too happy about the noise levels in nursery I am considering ear defenders for her - any comments?)
Here is the sort of routine.....
7.00 - wake & bf (try to keep this consistent as latest we can do this on nursery days)
8.15 - breakfast
10.15 - nap
11.00 - bf or bottle of ebm
12.30 - lunch
14:30 - nap
15:15 - wake from nap
16:00 - bf or bottle of ebm
18:00 - dinner (trying to keep this consistent as this is when I get home on nursery days)
19:30 - aim to be sleeping by then after bath, bf, sleepy music etc (sometimes slips to 20:00 or 20:30)
"A time" is everything in between. We did have a huge early waking problem but have noticed that as long as she has is awake by 16:00 after 2nd nap she sleeps longer at night.
Anything I can do to extend naps or is it best to leave well enough alone?
Will tackle potty training once we have napping sorted.
If you notice any other glaring mistakes we are making please let us know.
Also any ideas how much emb she should be on now - she is still guzzling 16 oz @ nursery plus 2 x me at home plus 3 x big meals. she's not fat though - really healthy
and i'm ok with it even if I do feel like a milking machine LOL
thanks for your help
