wants to be held
« on: December 31, 2007, 20:02:21 pm »
I have a 9 1/2 wk ds.  He wants to be held or sitting in someone's lap all of his awake time.  He is touchy/grouchy and gets fussy quickly when not being held.  He just started daycare and this is a problem.  I don't want to let him get too fussy as he gets OT very easily.  But, I want him to be independent.  Any suggestions?

I did not really have this problem with my LO, so no for sure answer, but what about you lie him down and lie next to him, could this satisfy him and then you can maybe slowly move farther? Or leave him short periods of time, like 1 minute or something and talking to him at the same time?
