12 months wants to binky himself to sleep

Is this a bad thing? He was going to sleep independently but I am weaning and he has 4 top teeth emerging. Should I stop it now?

What is "binky himself?"

Sorry, I don't know what that means, isn't a binky a dummy? My DD is 15 months and she has about 10 dummies in her bed!!

I am sure its ok, DD has about 10 in her bed too lol. I would say that if your lo is not waking up for replugs and can do it herself then its fine  :-*

Sorry- binky himself is what we cal using the pacifier to lull himself to sleep. He has been waking the past few nights with teeth and I gave him some medication for pain. Thank you both! I don't feel like I am creating a crutch.
