Am I a prop?
« on: February 05, 2008, 20:08:17 pm »
I am on my 8th day of following the EASY and using PUPD for sleeping.  I have been having the worst time getting my LO down.  Not that she cries, but will starting going crazy with rolling from side to side, throwing her legs up in the air, etc. I used to nurse her to sleep, but now we've been doing winddown with books ect. Once she does get to sleep (after an hour+), she'll wake up after 1/2 an hour.  Today, I nursed her, woke her up, then set her in her crib w/ her paci.  She's now awake after 35 minutes.  HELP!

Hi there, I just took this from another thread, onto it's own so you will have some more answers.

Can you give us some more info?  Like how old is your lo and what is her usual routine?

thanks
Aleesa.....

Hello,

When I started the PU/PD program, I noticed my son, Ben, also threw his legs up and down, and thrashed from side to side.  We've been doing this for quite some time now, and I've come to realize that this is part of his method of calming himself.  It's not as exaggerated as it once was a month ago when we started, but he still does it to some extent (he really just thrashes his head from side to side now and not his whole body).
