yeah.... it's amazing.   My husbands wedding ring could fit on Orla's arm as a bracelet!!!  We made santa hats for them out of napkins for xmas pics and we actually had to cut the napkins down....

Now they are running rings around me - blows my mind every time I see those pics of them when they were so teeny tiny...

They remind me everyday of just resiliant babies are !

Not nosey at all - I went into pre-term labour at 32wks.  Orla's sac had ruptured so they had to be delivered.  They tried to keep me for the 12 hours to give me those steroids for their lungs so they were giving me drugs to slow it down.  My husband was also on biz trip in Malaysia so he was at the aiport trying to get back !  Anyway Orla decided that she could wait no longer and after 6hrs they had to be delivered by emerg c-section. My husband unfort didn't make it but I had a friend with me which was good.    Emily had to be resusitated as she was not breathing but other than that they were ok.  I had them with me for an hour and then they were transfered to a NICU nearby.   Docs were amazed that they were able to breath and suck by themselves so they did not need any intubation which was a relief.   They started off getting just 2mls of milk every 2 hrs but after 7.5wks they were up to 4lbs weight and on a 3hrs schedule taking 40mls so they could come home and since then it's been amazing to say the least
