one year now - any changes?
« on: February 26, 2008, 09:50:50 am »
hi
my daughter has been on a diary free diet for two months now since we emigrated to israel. she is doing much better without the milk and has Similac Top Lactose Free formula. now she is a year, should i be making any changes to her diet. With dd1 i switched her to follow on formula, but i dont know if there is a follow on for Similac. Any suggestions?
thanks

First of all I would not worry about switching formulas just yet if her current formula is working well. Your dd will be getting nutrition from solid food aswell. As long as she is having a balanced diet I see no reason to change things at the moment. There are lots of children that stay on infant formulas past 1 year old when there are allergies/intollerances involved. If you would like to switch to a follow on formula then you could ask if there is a follow on formula by similac that is also lactose free.
