Silly Question - Brown rice/rice
« on: March 11, 2008, 23:44:08 pm »
Hi All,

I know this is a silly question, but I've introduced rice cereal to my LO and always wait 3 to 5 days before introducing something else. I want to give her brown rice. Is that considered a new food category and I need to wait the 3 to 5 days?

Thanks.

There are some lo's that react to brown rice and not white rice and the other way round so I would wait 3 to 5 days before introducing it.

Thanks Kelly. I wasn't sure, but I will definitely wait now.

Are you making your own Rice cereal?  I know the commercial brands that I have gotten is made from Brown rice.

I wanted to make my own rice cereal, so if you are, please share how you do it.

Thanks, Wendy
